Remodeling alters your space’s structure or layout (such as knocking out walls, adding or removing counter space), while renovating upgrades your space (such as updating your backsplash tile or laying new flooring).

Each project is unique, and so preparations for that project will also be unique. Your project manager will guide you through every step of the process, and this includes providing more specific instructions for your project. Usually, your preparation includes clearing the space of personal belongings (such as dishes inside cabinets, small appliances and decor on countertops, etc.) so contractors have a clean space to work.

We understand the “invasion of your home” worry you may be feeling. We take every necessary step to respect your property and your privacy by laying down clean tarps as needed, taking down wall art that could fall, ventilating the space properly, and thoroughly cleaning the work space on the last day of construction.

It really depends on your specific project’s size and goals. Once our consultants meet with you to understand what you want done, we can provide a more detailed estimate regarding cost and time. However, we’ll do everything within our power to meet your time and budget needs.

As a rule of thumb, simple renovation projects such as replacing countertops can take as few as one to two days. However, more complex renovation projects such as replacing flooring or cabinets, painting, etc. can take up to 45 days. Again, it truly depends on your specific project, and our experienced team can help zero in on a more exact estimate.
